Research

Enver J. Torregroza is a philosopher whose work centers on moral and social philosophy, in particular the role of philosophy in moral and political life. He has also a special interest in ethical and social dimensions of emotional experiences. He works at the Department of Philosophy and Society at the Complutense University of Madrid and teaches at the Faculty of Social Work and in the Sciences of Religion Undergraduate Program at the UCM. Another recurrent subject of his work is the philosophy of the Colombian thinker Nicolás Gómez Dávila. Enver Torregroza is the President of the Hispanic-American Blumenberg Society and Managing editor of the journal Revista de Hispanismo Filosófico.
